With human capital, firms can maximize their value by developing employees that mold into the companies’ standards and improve the internal functions. Social capital involves making the right connections and building solid relationships. It breeds innovation and moves information quicker. Firms must protect their intellectual capital in order to maintain their competitive advantage. Kroger has an incredible number of locations, but data, digital tools, and collaberation to remain competitve and keep up with trends.
